Armand “Fred” deRosset of Yamhill, Oregon passed away in the arms of his family at Legacy Emanuel Hospital in Portland, Oregon, on April 16, 2017 at the age of 60.
He was born to Armand and Nancy deRosset in Hillsboro, Oregon on June 27, 1956 and was the youngest of three children.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jan, and their two young children Dreven and Nevaeh, as well as his four adult children; Nicole, Cassylou, Jerid, and Brianna. He also leaves behind six grandsons; Daniel, Wyatt, Brody, Wyatt, Isaiah and Noah.
Armand was known to most as Fred, but to those closest to him he was simply Dad or Papa. He enjoyed spending his days working on his farm and tinkering with his tractors. He loved the ocean and one day hoped to sail his sail boat to the San Juan Islands. He had a great sense of humor and lived life to the fullest. He was kind to everyone and would do anything for anyone. Fred was a loving, caring father, husband, and friend who will be forever missed. The world lost a great man who cared deeply for all who knew him.
Services will be held at the Yamhill Carlton Pioneer Memorial Cemetery on April 21, 2017.
