Obituary for Cynthia Jean (Dunn) Lampella

Cynthia Jean (Dunn) Lampella received her angel wings on June 15, 2017 with her loved ones by her side. Cindy passed away due to complications from kidney stones. She will be lovingly remembered by her three children: John David (Jennifer), Jodi, Dana (JT), her goddaughter Rachelle Rae-Jean, her eight grandchildren: Brody, (Sami), Riley, Marly, Shelby, Gavin, Hope, Luke and Lola, as well as her fiancé (and high school sweetheart) Steve Wingler, her loving ex-husband Gary, her father Warren Dunn Sr and her brother Warren Dunn Jr (Judy). She was preceded in death by her mother Emma Jean Dunn and her best friend Janice Wilcox.
Cindy was born and raised in Indiana. She moved to Oregon after high school to attend beauty school. She spent the next forty plus years raising her family and working her magic in various salons. Cindy cherished her extended family that she gained through the hearts of her many clients.
Cindy's passions included her family, making people feel loved and beautiful, cooking (man could she cook), attending sporting events (especially those of her grandkids), traveling, ironing (it soothed her soul), watching The Hallmark Channel (a hopeless romantic), sitting on the beach (born a sun goddess), she loved a good slot machine whether in Vegas or closer to home and played her iPad games daily, but equally enjoyed a family game of cards. She was an amazing decorator, especially at Christmas time (with 7 trees!), and her gag gifts brought many tears of laughter. Many more laughs were shared while shopping and searching for a good bargain. At the end of a 14 hour day, she enjoyed a hot bath and one of many fuzzy robes. She was a lover of sport cars and forever maintained her long beautiful nails. She proudly shared all that she had and never hesitated to spoil everyone who surrounded her.
