Obituary

Son of George and Metta Walters Bailey. He grew up during the depression in a rural area of Missouri at a time that was dedicated to hard work and survival. He served in the US Navy, during the Pearl Harbor attack. He married Betty Sprague in 1955 in Jamestown, NY. He moved to Sheridan, Oregon in 1962 and would tell everyone he was living in God's country. He and his wife raised purebreed Charolis Cattle for many years. He and his wife Betty of 40 years had built a beautiful ranch/farm life together. The family said "he was a good man with a wonderful twinkle in his blue eyes and a warming smile." He worked with 4-H children showing cattle. He was preceded in death by his wife Betty in 1997.

He is also survived by two nieces Sunee Bailey of Pleasant Hill, Missour and Linda Bailey Weber of Olathe, Kansas.
