Daughter of Milo and Myrtle Shirer Blough, was born November 1, 1920 in Lafayette, Oregon.
She graduated High school and married Herhell Wiles in 1940. He later died in an auto accidnet in 1942. She then married Gordon Howard in 1945. While in Lafayette she worked for the cannery and the school as a cook. She moved to Eugene in 1954. She worked for JC Penney's in Eugene until her retirement in 1982. She loved camping, going to the coast, playing pinochle, shopping, dancing, knitting, crocheting, and crossword puzzles. She belonged to the Rebekka Lodge in Lafayette and the Eagles in Eugene. She was preceded in death by husband Gordon in 2004, son Danny, and sisters Velede Bryan and Bernice Johnson.
